Can't say I've seen either of those, but I'm a huge " AKIRA " fan ( lost count of how many times I've watched it. ) And there was another series called UROTSUKIDOJI which I used to enjoy ( at least I THINK that's how it's spelled:D )

I've just finished watching Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi. Great series. I'm currently watching Kanamemo.

Tower of Druaga was brilliant, that's one I finished recently too.
